As we've stated time and time again, nostalgia can be bad for your wallet when you're a sports fan. Like millions of sports fans out there, we absolutely love to collect sports memorabilia, even if it's something as random as the no-edges Black Diamond card of Sergei Berezin when he used to be a Maple Leaf. Sure, that card would likely never see the light of day, but we would be proud to know that we owned it.

Store owners who make a living off of selling sports memorabilia know this, and take full advantage so that they can squeeze maximum dollars when separating diehard sports fans from their money. Rightfully so, as they've got to make a buck. However, sometimes prices can get a little out of hand, as "collectible" items are valued at insane prices as nostalgia runs rampant. Here are five more jerseys currently up for sale on eBay that we think should probably come down in price if anyone is every going to buy them.

Before we get started, yes, we recognize that technically something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. So these all may very well sell...but we think a whole lot more people would be interested if these price adjustments were made. If you like the price you see...go on ahead. That's just like our opinion. Okay, man?

Scott Greenham - Binghampton Senators (Game Worn) - $1439 CAD

Ottawa native Scott Greenham has played five seasons with the Binghamton Senators, but has never played more than 30 games in a year with the AHL affiliate. That's why we're a tad perplexed as to why a game worn jersey of his is currently going for $1400 CAD. That's not to say that someone wouldn't want to own it, but seeing as you can get a signed McDavid Team Canada jersey for nearly $500 less, the price is a bit steep.

Josh Gratton - Philadelphia Flyers (Game Worn) - $883 CAD

Josh Gratton -- brother of Chris Gratton -- played just over a season's worth of games at the NHL level, coming in at 86 games total. During Gratton's career, the winger had two stints with the Philadelphia Flyers (05-06, 08-09). If you're a Flyers fan looking to turn back the clock and get nostalgic by purchasing a game worn Gratton jersey, an eBay seller has the item listed, with the sweater currently selling for $883.

Olaf Kolzig 1998 Stanley Cup jersey (Authentic) - $785 CAD

Question for you fans out there? Would you ever go out of you way to purchase a jersey from your favourite team that featured a Stanley Cup patch from a final they lost and got swept in? If that answer is yes and you're Capitals fan, we have a second question. Would you pay over $700 for that jersey? Perhaps some fans don't mind.

John Vanbiesbrouck 1996 Stanley Cup jersey (Authentic) - $785 CAD

Last year the Florida Panthers unveiled their brand new logo and jersey design to mixed reviews. No matter what your opinion of the new design is, we think that you would likely agree that it takes a bit of time for nostalgia to really set in. Sure, the Panthers have changed their jersey design at least a few times now, but their original logo pretty much stayed fully intact until the recent redesign. So, this brings us to our question...is there anyone out there that would spend $785 on a John Vanbiesbrouck jersey? Again, featuring a patch from a Stanley Cup final in which the team was swept.

Jeremy Roenick jersey (Authentic) - $785 CAD

There are plenty of jersey designs out there that were once deemed ugly and have since been celebrated for being different. The Islanders fisherman jersey...the Mighty Ducks Wild Wing design...and perhaps most famously, the Canucks gigantic V neck sweaters. Notice how we didn't name the Phoenix Coyotes 1998 -99 jerseys? Again, this is a rather subjective exercise, but you would have a hard time convincing us that anyone will be spending nearly a thousand dollars on an authentic Coyotes jersey that features a trim that looks better suited as part of a Sheriff Woody bed sheet collection.
