When a team wins a big game or takes a step in the quest for post-season glory, players will be celebrating in one way or another.

Coaches, on the other hand, generally don’t get too high or two low after a win. Even in the biggest blow out wins, a coach can always pick a part a play where he wasn’t pleased with the effort or coverage. But sometimes, coaches have to let loose and enjoy the special moments of winning, especially when you’re 77-years-old.

Take Monte Kiffin, the father of notable college football coach Lane Kiffin and defensive assistant at Florida Atlantic University, who busted out the dance moves after his school set their school record in points scored with a 69-31 win against North Texas from Saturday’s slate of games.

The players on the Owls squad all circled around their coach as if he was one of the players. And for a man of his age, Kiffin moved pretty well and may have even down a variation of the running man dance. Even his son, who’s the head coach at FAU, was captivated with his pops’ moves. As a son, there’s absolutely nothing to be shamed about your father’s antiques, and Lane knows that.

This could be a sign of things to come if the Owls keep on winning. They’re 4-3 on the campaign, and haven’t had a winning season since 2008.

Monte Kiffin is a Super Bowl champion and has been a coach for over 30 years, but that might be one of the most upbeat moments he’s ever been a part of with a team that isn't exactly a traditional powerhouse.
