We've said it before and we'll say it again, goalie is the toughest position to play in hockey, and maybe in all of sports.

Aside from the very difficult task of stopping the best players on the planet from scoring, goalies also feel the most pressure as wins and losses usually come down to them making crucial saves, and at the end of the day, the blame for a loss or a team's tough stretch is placed on goalies in a lot of cases.

Andrew Hammond will probably shoulder the blame if Binghamton ends up losing to Toronto Monday in large part due to an awful goal he let by him from center ice in the first period.

As unlucky and crazy as the bounce was, it's a weak goal and it's one that Hammond would like to have back.

Unfortunately that's not how sports work and the Marlies lead the Senators 3-1.

As for Hammond, his struggles continue as his GAA is above three in the AHL this season and above four in the NHL.
