The New York Mets opened up a three-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night.

Trailing 2-1 in the top of the fourth inning, young Phillies slugger Tommy Joseph stepped up to the plate and was looking to get his team back in the game.

The 25-year-old smoked a pitch from Zach Wheeler but it ended up going into foul territory. Unfortunately, one person did not keep their eye on the ball and ended up on the wrong end of the foul ball.

The beer guy never even saw it coming and took the ball in one of the worst possible places. He seemed to be alright afterwards, and didn’t seem to miss any time during his shift.

However, the Mets ended up blowing the lead and lost the game in extra innings, so it was a very long night for this vendor.
