The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Saskatchewan Roughriders have one of the best rivalries in the CFL, so you knew Saturday’s Banjo Bowl was going to attract a large crowd.

Ahead of the games, fans experienced a bit of a delay that most likely caused them to miss part of the tailgate and the opening kick-off, and it was the most Canadian delay possible (other than a massive snowstorm).

That’s right, an alert was sent out to Bombers fans and traveling Roughriders fans to keep an eye out for a moose that was on the loose. As a result of this, one of the main roads was shut down and caused quite the backup.

The loose moose caused all sorts of delays, including forcing the team to take a 360 panoramic picture at halftime instead of during the opening kick-off.

This really is the most Canadian delay we’ve ever witnessed.
