Things got ugly in the stands during last night’s matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators at the Canadian Tire Centre.

Senators fans gathered near the ice surface as a Leafs fan began running his mouth. A woman who appeared to be an usher had enough, and proceeded to escort the gentleman out of the playing area. As they were leaving, the fan continued, which ultimately landed him a few knuckles to the face. Watch as a disgruntled Ottawa fan took things into his own hands (pardon the pun), and fed his rival with some good ole’ haymakers.

It’s only fitting that the enforcer was wearing a Mark Borowiecki jersey.

Similar to a fight on the ice, fans in the area left their seats and applauded the ‘hometown hero’. It wasn’t the first, nor will it likely be the last, as the two teams share one of the greatest rivalries in the NHL. Here’s a look at a separate fight from the battle of Ontario which featured a Sens and Leafs fan brawl down an isle.

Warning: Not suited for a working environment.

The teams are set to meet three more times this season, so don’t be surprised to see more of this in the coming months.
