Twitter is great for many things. You can use it to get all your news updates, you can use it to stay in contact with friends and family, or you can use it to stay up to date with your favourite athletes and celebrities.
One of the most famous Twitter accounts is Shooter McGavin. Sure, he’s just a character from a movie that came out more than 20 years ago, but everyone’s favourite villain from Happy Gilmore is also one of everyone’s favourite parody accounts on Twitter.
On Wednesday night, the Shooter McGavin Twitter account sent a message to Aaron Rodgers trying to get something going, and it appeared to work.
Rodgers is all about having a good time, so he fired right back at McGavin with a great tweet of his own.
That was just the beginning of it all, as the two started going back and forth.
Happy Gilmore is one of the greatest sports movies ever made, and is even loved by professional athletes from all types of sports.
Clearly Rodgers is a Gilmore man and not a McGavin guy, as the Packers quarterback kept firing off hilarious tweets in response to McGavin.
