The Chicago Blackhawks have struggled mightly against the Nashville Predators so far in their playoff series, failing to score a goal in either of the first two games.
The ‘Hawks have probably earned the right to have a couple cold streaks now and again with all the success they have had in recent years, and people probably would have been a little more lenient if not for their playoff campaign this postseason. They just happened to choose an extremely unfortunate motto.
“One Goal”.
The irony of their slogan was not lost on hockey fans. The “One Goal” slogan was meant to mean the Cup, but has taken on something new as ‘Hawks fans are starting to think they might just have to hope for one goal from their team at this point.
