Every time we think the dab is dead, it comes back bigger and better than ever.

Not even Cam Newton saying he wouldn't dab anymore could keep it buried, and recently we've seen it a lot, specifically at hockey games.

Earlier this month, a KHL player dabbed after scoring a big goal for his team.

Then there was a dab from the NHL in the form of a little kid dabbing on Kris Letang after reaching out to give him a fist bump.

And now that it has happened in the KHL and NHL in the month of December, it's only fitting for it to happen in the AHL, too.

Wednesday night, Daniel Walcott of the Syracuse Crunch scored his first goal of the season, and of course, it called for a sliding dab celebration after Walcott was knocked over by his teammate.

As much as some people want to see the dab die, every time we see it return out of nowhere, we want it to stay more and more.

Unfortunately for Walcott, not even his first of the year could propel the Crunch to a victory as they fell 5-4 to Hartford.  The loss was just their third of the season on home ice.
