The KHL and NHL both unveiled their All-Star Game jerseys earlier this week and the AHL followed in both of their footsteps on Friday afternoon. The events for the 2017 AHL All-Star Classic will take place at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Since the Phantoms are hosting the event this year, the team had the privilege of unveiling the jerseys on the local morning news.
They definitely followed in the NHL’s footsteps more than the KHL’s with these retro looking jerseys, but at least you’re able to tell which division they represent without having to wait for a player to put it on.
