Alexander Ovechkin is very unique, and with unique guys come unique tendencies.
Ovechkin is always having as much fun as he possibly can, but some people can forget about how supportive of his teammates he is. As excited as he is when he scores, he’s just as excited for team success. It is the one thing he has yet to achieve in the NHL and he’s willing to anything for it.
One of the most impactful things he can do outside of scoring goals at a ridiculous rate is support his teammates.
When they need a helping hand, he’ll be there. When they need someone to stand up for them, he’ll be there. And when their plane is delayed and they need someone to warm them up, he is there.
That’s Andre Burakovsky that Ovechkin is warming up. Funny enough, he’s not the only one that has recently discovered a new way to stay warm in the NHL.
