For anyone that has ever doubted that some professional wrestling moves actually hurt, prepare to eat your words.

Saturday, during a match at Full Contact Contender 19, a mixed-martial arts event  in the United Kingdom, a fighter by the name of Jonno Mears was having difficulty finishing his opponent Aaron Jones. Mears decided to go unorthodox, pulling out the 'Walls of Jericho' which led to Jones submitting almost instantaneously. His walls were broken down.

This has to be the first MMA submission of its kind. Rarely do finishing moves from professional wrestling make their way into an MMA ring, otherwise we would've seen Brock Lesnar issue about 34 F-5s.

The video clip of Mears' submission made its way to Chris Jericho online, much to the delight of the WWE star.

We still can't believe people still actually doubt that the move works. Anyone who has ever wrestled in the schoolyard knows that it took a maximum of 3 seconds for the walls to come tumbling down on anyone who found themselves locked in the move.
