There was a lot of hype surrounding Andrew Wiggins leading up to the 2014 NBA Draft, and he continues to show us on a nightly basis that the hype was real.

During his rookie campaign, Wiggins averaged 16.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Now, with two full NBA seasons under his belt, Wiggins is averaging 22.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, and has been playing like a man possessed as of late.

Wednesday night marked the second game of a back-to-back for the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, you never would have guessed it based on how Wiggins and the T-Wolves performed against the Denver Nuggets. With Minnesota up by 7 and looking to put the game away, Wiggins drove to the basket and put Nikola Jokic on a poster with a vicious slam.

Not only did Wiggins put the game out of reach with that jam and drop 40 points in the win, but he recorded 40 points for the second straight night.

Have mercy, Andrew Wiggins! #SCtop10
