This past summer, Kobe Bryant reached out to a few NBA players and challenged them all to different things. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo was not one of the players Kobe reached out to, the Greek Freak took it upon himself to reach out to the five-time NBA champion and asked for a challenge of his own.

Kobe did not leave the Bucks superstar hanging and challenged him to win MVP this season.

It looks like Antetokounmpo is up for the challenge as he got off to an incredible start in Milwaukee’s first game of the season and he made some defenders pay for his actions.

Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon connected beautifully on the alley-oop pass and Antetokounmpo made no mistake slamming the ball down in Aaron Baynes’ face.

Those were just two of his game-high 37 points as he helped lead his team to a 108-100 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.
