When Chicago Blackhawks' head coach Joel Quenneville referred to Artemi Panarin as the "Bread Man" during a post-game press conference last season, who knew it would inspire a bobblehead giveaway more than a year later?
It was a giveaway night at the Chicago Blackhawks versus San Jose Sharks game on Sunday night, and the first 10,000 fans through the doors were in for a treat. A bobblehead of Artemi Panarin would be awaiting those fans, but it wasn't simply a bobblehead of the winger, but a bobblehead of him holding a loaf of bread. Of course, as explained above, Panarin has had the nickname "Bread Man" for over a year now.
