We’re only eight games into the 2017-18 NHL season, but Columbus seems to be a good fit for Artemi Panarin.

Although the soon-to-be 26-year-old winger has just one goal through the Blue Jackets’ first eight games of the season, The Bread Man happens to lead the team in both assists (8) and points (9) while averaging around 20 minutes of ice-time per game.

Since Panarin called Chicago home the past two years, he needed to make some changes to his daily routines now that he’s living in a new city in North America for the first time in his life, which included finding a new off-ice training partner. On Sunday afternoon, the 2016 Calder Trophy winner shared a video on his Twitter account to show his fans how he stays prepared even when he’s not with his team.

The caption for the video was in Russian, but when translated to English it reads: “We help each other develop. Which dogs do you like? Helping each other to improve our skills. What kind of dogs do you like?”

Not only did Panarin give the fans a look into his personal life, but he also got a tremendous thread full of dog photos started on Twitter.

Considering he only has one goal through his first eight games he might fail to reach the 30-goal mark for the first time in his young career, but he’s still on pace to hit 70-plus points if he keeps dishing the puck the way he has through the first eight games.
