At the age of 65, Craig Sager, a longtime broadcaster with TNT, has passed away today after a long battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

You may know him for his colourful suits and personality while interviewing players and coaches, courtside at some of the biggest NBA games of the last 30 years. Sager was initially diagnosed with the disease in 2014 and was re-admitted into the hospital last month. Through many hilarious interviews with players and coaches, you were able to see how well-respected and liked he was within his community.

That was made evident again today with his passing, as people from around sports world paid their respects to the now-deceased father of two.

In these moments, many remember the ability he had to bring out the lighter side in players and coaches from around the league. Many people chose to share their favourite moments, including interviews with LeBron, Kevin Garnett and Gregg Poppovich.

Then, of course, there was his heart-touching speech at the 2016 ESPYs.

He has inspired many will continue to do so well beyond this day.
