Earlier this week, Auston Matthews and members of the Toronto Maple Leafs took over the Rogers Centre while the Toronto Blue Jays were out of town on an eight-game road trip.

The guys hit the field with Josh Donaldson and got to take part in batting practice and field grounders.

On Saturday, Matthews was in attendance for the Blue Jays’ afternoon game against the Tampa Bay Rays and he was sitting behind home plate.

Matthews went the first few innings without getting noticed, but once they realized it was Matthews hiding underneath the glasses and ball cap, his cover was blown.

Toronto sports fans are happy to see Matthews sticking around town even though his offseason is officially underway, but they’re even happier about the fact that he’s rocking a Canadian tuxedo at the Blue Jays game.

We don’t know if he’s rocking jeans at the moment, but we’ll just pretend that he is. Matthews seems to have found a new love for the Rogers Centre, as it feels like he hasn’t left it all week long.

He's not the only hockey player to take in a Jays game this week. P.K. Subban and some of the Nashville Predators caught a Jays game earlier this week when the team was in St. Louis.
