On Sunday, Washington Capitals' Nicklas Backstrom joined Sweden's national team in Cologne, where he took part in his first practice, and later the game. Before the practice, Backstrom was spotted giving New York Rangers' goalie Henrik Lundqvist a big hug near the team locker room.
The 29-year-old looked happy to be with the team, and even happier during the game scoring a goal, and an assist on a beautiful give-and-go with William Nylander.
