With the Washington Capitals currently trying to climb out of the Wild Card position and into the three spot in the Metropolitan division, head coach Barry Trotz isn't taking any chances.

Trotz is known to be a rather enigmatic figure, often supplying reporters with rather vague responses when asked direct questions, especially during the playoffs. Saturday, ahead of the Capitals game against the Devils, Washington Post reporter Isabelle Khurshudyan asked Trotz a pretty simple question, but Trotz wouldn't budge.

Hey, we guess you can never be too careful when it comes to tactics in the NHL. Even though Trotz didn't give Khurshudyan much to go on, the Washington Post reporter used deductive reasoning to come to at least one conclusion.

Perhaps Trotz's tight lip approach was the reason the Capitals went on to win 6-2 on Saturday? Probably not, though...
