The Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves have officially started a rivalry. Of course, many Blue Jays fans would tell you it started in 1992 when the two teams battled in the World Series, but this is an entirely different era.

These Braves are upset with Jose Bautista, of course, but that’s not the only person. The Blue Jays have hit seven players with pitches in three games against the Braves, and one has especially stung in Atlanta.

That MVP caliber player is Freddie Freeman (Who Canadians also appreciate, as he represented the country at the World Baseball Classic). Last night, Aaron Loup struck him in the hand with a pitch and the team fears the worst.

That has not sat well in the Braves’ clubhouse and apparently, they plan on doing something about it.

The fireworks aren’t finished yet, folks.
