The Leafs are the most popular team in Canada in two different ways. They do attract the most fans across Canada, but they are also the most popular team to hate.

So, no matter where you go, whether it be the Facebook comments of a story about Matt Duchene or in Sooke, BC (A municipality on Vancouver Island) people will always find a way to take a shot at the Leafs. The latest iteration of this hobby comes from the 17 Mile House Pub in the aforementioned Sooke.

On their appetizers, they serve a special dish for Torontonians, the Maple Leafs Poutine.

Well played 17 Mile House, well played.

Maple Leafs Poutine

In usual Leafs fashion, a cold, overpriced dish, served with under-performing gravy, ice-cold fries, and a side of disappointment. - $67.00

We don’t imagine anyone has ever actually bought the poutine, because it sounds wildly unappetizing, but we can imagine what it looks like. We’ve woken up to a tub of Smoke’s Poutine sitting open on our kitchen table.

However it may look though, we can say we’ve never been disappointed by poutine. Well, except for whatever the Washington Capitals were advertising that one time.

They got ratio’d on that one.
