Patrice Bergeron won't ever wow you with his point totals (career high is 73 back in the 2005-06 season), but there's one number that makes him one of the most valuable players in the NHL.

Faceoff percentage is an often overlooked stat during the regular season, but in the playoffs when it gets that much more difficult to score goals and faceoffs become so important, there aren't many players better than Bergeron.

Hockey fans know how valuable he is in the faceoff circle, whether it be in a big regular season game, in the playoffs or at the Olympics for Canada.

If you don't think Bergeron is the best when it comes to faceoffs though, you probably will after taking a look at his last 25 draws.

There's a lot to analyze here.

First, we should start with the fact that he's won 25 faceoffs in a row over the course of the last two games (both wins).

Considering the last two games were the biggest of the season as Boston clinched a playoff spot after beating Tampa, that makes the feat even more impressive.

What's also impressive is who he beat in the circle.  Seven straight wins against Jonathan Toews with six of them coming in the defensive zone.  Insanity.

Bergeron followed up that performance against the Hawks by not losing a draw in the playoff-clinching game versus the Lightning.

Sure, there are other players that have a better percentage than Bergeron this season (Matt Duchene, Antoine Vermette), but Bergeron has taken and won the most draws in the league.

When it comes to the playoffs, Bergeron's career percentage gets better as it jumps from 57.1 to 58.9.

Bergeron will be a key player for Boston as they attempt to win their first Cup since 2010-2011.
