Cincinnati Reds centre fielder Billy Hamilton is known around the league for his speed, but every now and then the 26-year-old Taylorsville, Mississippi native puts his impressive glove on display as well.

The Reds are currently hosting the San Diego Padres for a four-game series with the second game of the series taking place on Tuesday night. With San Diego leading 3-0 in the top of the third inning, Padres second baseman Carlos Asuaje was looking to extend his team’s lead, only Hamilton had other plans in mind.

According to Statcast, Hamilton managed to cover 106 feet in just 5.9 seconds to come up with the leaping over-the-shoulder grab at the wall to rob Asuaje of an extra-base hit.

That’s definitely a candidate for MLB catch of the year.
