The Toronto Blue Jays have been using the Buffalo Bisons as their Triple-A affiliate since the 2013 season.

This weekend, the Bisons showed their appreciation for their MLB ball club by hosting a Blue Jays Weekend for their Saturday and Sunday games.

The Bisons’ official team colours are scarlet, blue and white, so they had a different look when they took the field for their games against the Pawtucket Red Sox.

The team decided to go with a blast from the past as they made their uniforms look similar to the ones the Jays used in the late 1970’s and 1980’s.

The uniforms ended up looking very sharp on the players and the crowd loved them.

Perhaps the team will consider making these their permanent uniforms because they’re pretty awesome.
