July 1st may be marked down on the calendar as a day of rest for most Canadians, but to hockey insiders it's one of the busiest days of the year. Back in June former NHLer and legendary tweeter Paul 'BizNasty' Bissonnette announced that he would be joining the Arizona Coyotes radio broadcast next season, officially becoming a member of the media.

With Saturday being BizNasty's first free agent frenzy on the media side, Biz came up big with a string of tweets that both entertained and informed.

Discussing the the Maple Leafs' acquisition of defenceman Vincent LoVerde, Bissonnette outlined how his former teammate was not only going to be a fan favourite, but also how his presence may have an impact on the Greater Toronto Area.

Warning: while hilarious, these tweets contain explicit language.

As Biz showed, no one knows a player better than his former teammates. He also showed why fans in the desert should be extremely excited to have him as a media personality next season. For those in Toronto who may be a little concerned about LoVerde's potential impact on the city's sewage system, no need to fret, Biz hit up his source to confirm that body hair won't be an issue due to the terms of the deal.

It only seems right that we celebrate the work of a national treasure like Biz Nasty on Canada Day.
