It’s that time of the year again where some NHL teams’ morning skates are featuring some new faces. As another trade deadline came and went, there were a few players who hit the ice on Wednesday morning or will be hitting the ice on Thursday morning with some new teammates.

The Chicago Blackhawks were one of the few teams who had a new face on the ice with them on Wednesday morning, but it wasn’t a player they just traded for, it was 13-year-old Riley.

Granted through Make-A-Wish Illinois and the Chicago Blackhawks, the youngster got a chance to hit the ice with the team for their morning skate on Wednesday, and got to go between the pipes to stop some shots from guys like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and many more.

It’s always awesome to see professional athletes and organizations step up like this to make a dreams come true.
