Bob McKenzie has the nickname the Bobfather for a reason – he basically announces everything that happens in the NHL, so it’s only fitting that he announce the unofficial start of hockey season.
McKenzie was tweeting out educated guesses about the Leafs potential line combinations and he had this to say about where Marleau would fit into the lineup:
Well, as he gets virtually every day during the hockey season, many people were responding with their opinions about why he is wrong or right. Still, when he’s in his offseason Bobby Margarita mode, it slows down a little bit, so when he got this response from Dart Guy, well, it was like a ground hog leaving the hole and letting us know hockey season was coming early.
Dart Guy might be the most well-known Leafs fan outside of celebrities like Justin Bieber, Mike Myers and Will Arnett, but clearly he’s got eyes on being an analyst as well. He had one visit with the panel in the playoffs, who knows if we’ll see him talking Leafs somewhere down the line.
