Although Bruce Boudreau hasn't had playoff success over the course of his coaching career, that doesn't make him a bad coach.

In fact, he's 13th among active head coaches in most career wins and he's led the Wild to an incredible 42-15-6 record entering play Tuesday night.

Minnesota is also seven wins away from setting a new franchise record for most wins in a season and Boudreau, who's in his first season with the Wild, is a big reason why the team is on the verge of that record.

While it all looks great on the surface, their have been struggles as the Wild came out of the gates slowly, but Boudreau, like any great coach, has made adjustments throughout the season to help his team.

Speaking of adjustments, Boudreau made one ahead of Sunday's game against the Sharks that proves what a great coach he is.

Dedication, innovation and making adjustments based on a tiny detail all in one quote, the marks of a great coach, especially considering Parise hasn't played right wing before, according to himself.

Ironically enough, the change seemed to work as Staal, who had scored just one goal in the 18 games prior to the contest against the Sharks, scored twice and Parise also scored in the win.

Minnesota will try and keep their Western Conference lead as they face the Blues Tuesday night.
