He’s a passionate player that plays the game of baseball with flare, and when he feels slighted, he’s not afraid to show it. Perhaps he felt there was something that Eric O’Flaherty did to wrong him, because he gave the Braves pitcher a stare and monster bat flip after he took him deep last night.
Of course, as it did when he flipped his bat against the Texas Rangers, this upset the opposing squad. The benches cleared, no punches were thrown, and it seemed like things were settled. Of course, they weren’t as everybody had something to say after the game.
As you can imagine, the Blue Jays fans were no different in their opinions of the Jays player, but most of the postgame attention was directed toward Kevin Pillar, who made some comments he was not proud of.
