Hurricane Harvey touched down in Houston last month and was extremely destructive as it displaced more than one million people.

Thanks to J.J. Watt and other athletes across North America, millions of dollars have already been raised towards the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and they’re not showing any signs of slowing down.

On Tuesday, San Jose Sharks defenceman Brent Burns hosted his own event to raise money towards the relief fund and it wasn’t your ordinary charity event.

The 2017 James Norris Memorial Trophy winner hosted his event at the State of Grace Tattoo shop located in San Jose, California, and he had Taki Kitamura, his go-to tattoo artist at the shop, to create a special logo and limited edition shirt for the cause.

Burns was in attendance at the shop from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and he signed the shirts for anyone who made a $30 donation towards the cause, with all proceeds from the shirts going towards J.J. Watt's fundraiser

The event was a huge success and some fans even got some San Jose Sharks tattoos while they were there.

If you weren’t able to make it out to the fundraiser you can still purchase shirts online.
