Jon Jones is back in champion form and he’s already calling out opponents.

Following Jones’ Light Heavyweight championship victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, the 30-year-old was quick to call out his next opponent while he was standing in the octagon, and it was former UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar.

Turns out Lesnar was tuning in and heard Jones’ request and he responded pretty quickly. According to a report from Greg Beacham of the Associated Press, Lesnar’s response was pretty straight forward and got right to the point.

“Be careful what you wish for, young man,” is all Lesnar had to say in response to Jones’ post-fight comments.

Jones called out Lesnar way before he even stepped inside the octagon with Cormier, and Lesnar was quick to respond to Jones’ original comments as well.

Lesnar on Jones superfight: 'Anytime, anywhere'

Just like the McGregor-Mayweather superfight that’s set to take place in Las Vegas at the end of August, Jones is hoping that a superfight between himself and Lesnar would garner the same type of attention and they’d be able to attract fans by putting one of the best fighters from the WWE up against one of the best fighters from the UFC.

Of course, UFC president Dana White is keeping an open mind about this potential superfight and would be in full support of it if that’s what the fans really want.

Dana White open to Jones-Lesnar fight

We’ll just have to wait and see now if this superfight will actually take place, but Jones has some current UFC fighters who are itching to go one-on-one with him inside the octagon.
