Being a Cleveland Browns fan is tough, as the futile franchise has not only becoming the laughing stock in football, but in all of professional sports. It’s not often the team is honoured with many accolades or have their players featured on magazine covers such as Sports Illustrated. But the time for that has finally come.

Joe Thomas, who is one of the best offensive tackles in the game – if not the best – graced the cover of one of SI’s 2017 NFL Preview regional releases….sort of. Thomas was scaled down along with several other top players and was photo shopped underneath the armpit of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who’s actually the real cover athlete.

Having some with the photo, the Browns hilariously congratulated Thomas for appearing on the cover with this zoomed-in GIF.

Thomas followed that up with a tweet of his own, and was honoured to be under the five-time Super Bowl champion’s armpit.

Aaron Rodgers, J.J Watt and David Johnson were all chosen for the upcoming season, and each magazine has the same abundance of players trying to bring each respective star down to illustrate their dominance.
