Toronto as a sports city has a bright future, and that's not just because of the Raptors, Leafs and Jays.

Last year, Toronto FC captivated the city during their run to the MLS Cup, and although they suffered a heartbreaking loss to Seattle, what they gained over the course of their run was far more valuable.

This season, TFC will try and get back to the final, and with hungry and supportive fans behind them, the run will be a lot of fun to watch.

Through three games this season, Toronto is undefeated at 1-2-0, and on Friday Match Night, they'll have Sebastian Giovinco back for their home opener.

Ahead of the home opener, though, Cabbie caught up with the Italian star to talk communication.

Tosaint Ricketts and Drew Moor also joined in on the fun and used 'Google Translate' to tell Giovinco to pass them the ball more.

Passing the ball is one of Giovinco's strong suits believe it or not as he led the league in assists in 2015 and was second in 2016.

He also led MLS in goals in 2015 and finished third in 2016, so he can really do it all.

Be sure to watch Giovinco and TFC in their home opener on TSN Friday night.
