There are two playoff teams that really struggled down the stretch of the season, the Sharks and Blue Jackets.

Unlike Columbus, though, San Jose managed to put the season behind them and take home ice away from the Oilers with a win in Game 1 of their series.

The Jackets, on the other hand, find themselves down 2-0 to the defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins.

The Blue Jackets lost six of their last seven regular season games and have lost eight of their last nine after falling to the Pens Friday night.

We imagine the team is quite frustrated considering the incredible season they've had, and those frustrations came to fruition towards the end of the game as Matt Calvert cross checked Tom Kuhnhackl in the back and actually broke his stick over his back.

The cross check probably could go under the cheap shot category as Kuhnhackl didn't see it coming at all and it didn't seem like there was any rhyme or reason to it, just Calvert trying to fire up his team for the next game.

Unfortunately for him, he may not be out there for Game 3 as the NHL is reviewing the incident.

While we await the NHL's decision on the incident, fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion, and it's safe to say they want to see a suspension.

At the end of the day, it's in the hands of the NHL now, but the fact that Calvert broke his stick over an unsuspecting player's back is more than enough for a suspension in our opinion.

Look for the rough stuff to continue Sunday as the Pens travel to Columbus for Game 3.
