It’s always exciting to see an amazing goal in hockey, but a great save can make for an even better highlight.

The Western Michigan Broncos squeaked past the University of North Dakota with a 3-2 win on Saturday, and were able to hold on due to a phenomenal stop by their goaltender, Ben Blacker.

After the puck managed to find its way to the front of the net, University of North Dakota defenceman and Winnipeg Jets prospect Tucker Poolman was presented with an open cage, but was denied by the glove of Blacker.

Blacker is a native of Oakville, Ontario and has posted a respectable 13-3-1 record with a .923 save percentage this season. Saves like that will only give him more national attention in the future.
