Many talented players that don't make it to the NHL sometimes decide to go overseas and play rather than sticking it out in the minors, and we can't argue with that decision.

Although the level of competition might not be up to par with the AHL in some cases, it's still very good hockey for the most part, and for those players that couldn't keep a roster spot in the minors, it's a way to continue playing the sport they love.

Brampton Ontario native Daniel Sparre knows a little bit about how hard it is to make it playing hockey in North America.

The 32-year-old bounced around between the AHL and ECHL from 2005 to the 2007-08 season before packing up and going to Europe.

After one season in Italy, Sparre took his talents to the DEL, and he's been in the league ever since the 2009-10 season.  Sparre's had a nice little career overseas, and he scored arguably the nicest goal of his career Sunday with this between the legs beauty.

Scoring a between the legs goal is always difficult, but it's even harder when you're just above the goal line.

That being said, Sparre made it look easier than it actually was, and that goal helped his team as it tied the game and they would eventually win it 4-3.
