The big day of Halloween is just around the corner, and in the sports world, tons of sports figures are showing of their costumes and giving fans a glimpse into the types of parties that are going down.

Some fans have decided to carve their favourite sports stars into pumpkins, like this Canucks fan did with rookie Brock Boeser.

The progression is pretty cool to see, and the finished product is unbelievably accurate.

The best part has to the hair, which perfectly resembles the 20-year-old.

Upon a quick scan of Bruce’s Twitter page will tell you just how talented he is with his terrific carving abilities.

“Brocktober” has been a month to remember in Canucks nation. After being a healthy scratch in the first two games of the Canucks season that sent the city of Vancouver into an uproar, Boeser is not only leading the Canucks in team scoring with 2 goals and 7 assists in 8 games, but has emerged as an early season Calder trophy candidate with the highest points per game amongst his fellow first years.

The product of Minnesota is currently nursing a minor foot injury after blocking a shot during Thursday’s big 6-2 win over the Capitals. Boeser isn’t expected to miss any games.
