The Vancouver Canucks continue to hover around the .500 mark and are currently four points out of a Wild Card spot, but on Tuesday night they celebrated a special achievement. They didn't allow Sidney Crosby to score his 1000th point on their home ice.

Vancouver based Photoshop group "Tron Army" commemorated the occasion by creating a faux banner that would actually look pretty nice hanging from the Canucks' rafters.

The Canucks went on to lose the game 4-0, and Crosby did actually record a point on the night with an assist. But who cares when you kept Crosby from celebrating extra hard, right? Crosby will now have to wait until at least Thursday to get another crack at celebrating his 1000th point when the Pens take on the Winnipeg Jets. Get your special banners ready Jets fans!
