Canucks goalie Anders Nilsson surprised his son by dressing up as Spider-Man for his birthday

Every child has a hero growing up at the he or she admires, whether that hero is a fictional character or an athlete or famous public figure.

Obviously super heroes appeal to a lot of kids because of how larger than life they are and the fact that they wear awesome costumes and save the world from danger.

Canucks goalie Anders Nilsson's son is one of the many that absolutely love Spider-Man, so for his son's 2nd birthday, Nisson surprised him by dressing up as Spider-Man.

Those are the moments that last a lifetime and Nilsson's son will never forget the birthday that Spider-Man showed up on the roof of his house.

Although hockey is such a big part of his world, Nilsson's family will clearly always come first, and that's the way it should be.
