Every professional athlete has a different pre-game routine.

Whether it’s something they eat, how they warm up, or the pre-game handshakes they give out to their teammates, every player does something different.

Vancouver Canucks centre Markus Granlund is one of those players who puts a lot of effort into his pre-game handshakes and seems to have one with every player on his team. Ahead of the Canucks’ home game against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night, the 24-year-old showed off some of his pre-game handshakes with Sven Baertschi and rookie Jayson Megna.

Canadian teams seem to really enjoy the pre-game handshakes as members of the Winnipeg Jets and the Toronto Maple Leafs also have some creative pre-game routines of their own.
