Every player with ambitions of playing in the NHL has someone that they look up to. For Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart, that someone was Carey Price. In the first round of the NHL playoffs, Hart got to go head-to-head with his idol in a best-of-seven. The Flyers would go on to win the series with a 3-2 win in game six, and after the game the two starting goalies met at centre ice.
In the post-game conversation, Carter Hart spoke about just how cool it was to shake hands with Carey Price at the conclusion of the series.
It was definitely a surreal moment for Carter Hart. Not only was he able to advance to the second round of the NHL Playoffs, but he also got some kudos from a goalie that he looked up to.
