On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers were on the verge of being swept by the Golden State Warriors.

Just one year after rallying back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA championship, they were almost in the exact position they were last year... only worse. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and the entire Cavaliers team knew they had to play their hearts out, give it all they had, and see if they could muster a win to begin creeping back into the series.

That’s exactly what they did on Friday night, avoiding the embarrassment of a sweep and showing life in the form of a big W.

Cavs’ fans were suddenly optimistic online, and were using last year’s comeback as justification for their hope.
