Russell Westbrook is in the record books!

Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard set the NBA single season record, recording his 42nd triple double of the year in grand style, posting 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. Oh, and Brodie also managed to hit the game-winning shot. The sports world let out a thunderous roar for Westbrook, celebrating one of the greatest individual statistical feats in the NBA record book.

After the game, Westbrook spoke on what it felt like to break the record, offering up an emotionally candid response.

Even after Westbrook dropped a game-winning dagger against the Nuggets, fans in Denver stayed to congratulate Brodie, showering the guard with high-fives as he left the court.
