Melvin Gordon made a lot of Chargers fans worried after his rookie campaign in 2015. In 14 games, the Kenosha, Wisconsin native finished with 641 rushing yards and 192 receiving yards but failed to record a single touchdown.

Last season, Gordon bounced back nicely and was one of the hottest backs in the league before his season ended due to an injury, as he finished with 997 yards on the ground and 10 touchdowns and also added 419 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The 24-year-old picked up where he left off last season on Monday night and picked up where he left off as he made a beautiful effort to get past the defenders to find the end zone for the first time this year.

Gordon had the end zone on his mind and wasn’t going to let anyone stand in his way as he picked up the first Los Angeles Chargers touchdown.
