During the Toronto Blue Jays’ playoff run, a corn maze in New Brunswick was created to celebrate the team’s 40th anniversary. The design was of Jose Bautista’s epic bat flip from the year prior, and Jays’ fans praised the detail put into the maze all across Canada.

A different design is picked for the maze each year, and created by Hunter Brothers Farm Market on their 6-acre field. Once the design is picked out, a combination of GPS, flags and a sprayer are used to map out how the corn will be removed from the paths to create the masterpiece.

In the past, Hunter Brothers have executed many sports related designs, including Terry Fox, Secretariat, the Montreal Canadiens, and Patrick Roy.

Word has it they’re creating a Toronto Maple Leafs’ design this fall, which according to their Web site is open from September 10th to October 30th. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this farm market this fall, that’s for sure.
