One of the biggest surprises of the NHL season thus far has been the Vegas Golden Knights.

The NHL's newest franchise is second in the Pacific with a 10-6-1 record and the most impressive part about their incredible start has been they've found a way to win with four different goalies.

On Tuesday, a fifth goalie made an appearance for the Golden Knights during their blowout loss to the Oilers as Maxime Lagace was pulled for 19-year-old BC native Dylan Ferguson.

The 7th round pick in the 2017 draft didn't face many shots and allowed one goal in his NHL debut, but by all accounts it was an incredible moment for him and after the game, he described a really cool interaction between him and Connor McDavid that left him a little star struck.

We imagine making your NHL debut is memorable enough, but one of the best players in the world went out of his way to make it even more memorable for Ferguson, and that's what hockey is all about.
With the Golden Knights in action on Thursday, Lagace has a day to rest, but who knows, maybe Ferguson makes his first career start against the Canucks or somewhere in the near future.
