Pittsburgh Penguins’ Sidney Crosby and Colorado Avalanche Nathan MacKinnon are both from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. The two also have a similar, and very unique work ethic when it comes to the way they train.

Both Crosby and MacKinnon have incredibly short offseasons, getting back to work as quickly as possible.

We don’t know if their work ethic has anything to do with where they’re from, but where they’re from allows them to go home for the summer, and still take part in high level, NHL caliber workouts together.

On Thursday morning, the two NHL stars were spotted in what appears to be a Nova Scotia park working out.

MacKinnon has been seen at the Crosby Hockey School this past week, so it was assumed the two were either training… or serving coffee at a local Tim Hortons.

And the Tim Hortons reference above can be explained by watching this...
