On Saturday night during Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, Pittsburgh Penguins teamates Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin experienced a Stanley Cup playoffs first together.

For the first time in their Penguins playoff careers, neither Crosby or Malkin registered a single shot attempt on net in a playoff game. After 143 playoff games together with at least a shot on net from one of the two, neither player could manage a shot Saturday.

The Predators ability to shut down the Penguins high powered offense was impressive, which helped them win 5-1, and trimmed the Penguins series lead to 2-1.
