The MLB All-Star game is like every other All-Star game now in the sense that it's just for fun.  Unlike in the past, home-field advantage isn't on the line.

With that in mind, the pressure is off of the players a little and they can have more fun, and Tuesday night, Nelson Cruz provided the baseball world (and Joe West) with a moment they'd never forget.

In the sixth inning, Cruz came off the bench to replace Corey Dickerson for the American League squad.  Before stepping up to the plate, though, Cruz wanted to get a picture with umpire Joe West, so he brought his phone up with him and got Yadier Molina to take the picture.

Yes, that actually happened and the baseball world absolutely loved the moment that will go down as one of the best in All-Star game history.
Shortly after snapping the picture for Cruz, Molina went yard to tie the All-Star game.
It's been a fun All-Star game to say the least, and Cruz is a big reason why.
